In 2015, Allgeier DMS Solutions, changed its name to iGuana. The company, which was established in 1985 and is led by CEO Stéphane Horta, has a long expertise in electronic document managing and is a valued partner of Kodak Alaris Information Management.
With a Belgian CEO, the company has offices in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg and Cyprus. iGuana has a vertical market focus which mainly revolves around its iGuana iDM sofware platform.
The company is a leader in the healthcare sector and also very active in banking, insurance and government. Almost two decades ago, iGuana implemented its Medicalviewer software in the Erasmus hospital in Belgium, in 2012 the platform was already used by 90% of all hospitals in the Benelux.
In 2012, the features of Medicalviewer and another successful software of the company, Scanview, were rebuilt in a brand new platform, iGuana iDM. Early 2002 the company got a first important scanning project and in 2012 it scanned approximately 300,000 documents per day with its ScanFactory division (now iGuana ScanFactory) in Belgium. Today that number has even bigger.
With a long history in scanning and indexing huge volumes of documents, iGuana is an important authorized reseller of our hardware and solutions. The company is also a Certified Gold Partner for Kodak Capture Pro software.
Regarding the choice for KODAK document scanners, Stéphane Horta says the company knows the pros and cons of the various high-volume scanner brands like no other and that KODAK scanners are renowned for their reliability, quality and speed.

Jean-Luc Cremens: “customers know they will not pay more than the agreed fee if they add more pages – and keeping the integrity of the scanned document – including blank pages – is not a cost issue anymore”.
Cremens also mentions that iGuana’s ScanFactory division intensively uses the bar code reading feature of Kodak Capture Pro and wins new business thanks to the software’s database look-up feature, for customers who need a scanning solution at their premises, whereby index fields can be seamlessly validated and populated from connected databases. This allows for rich content and data integrity.
Note: we often see that Kodak Capture Pro is used for scan to PDF for text OCR and that using a barcode as an index field is expensive with the capturing solutions from our colleagues.

Last but not least, iGuana is impressed with the know-how and commitment of the Services & Support department of Kodak Alaris Information Management.
