Windows Drivers

NOTE: The Version 3.3 driver will install on a computer and overwrite the TWAIN and ISIS drivers for a KODAK i5200, i5600 and i5800 Scanner. This configuration has not been tested and is NOT approved for use with a KODAK i5200, i5600 and i5800 Scanner. DO NOT install these drivers for use with a KODAK i5200, i5600 or i5800 Scanners.

Installing the scanner drivers from the link on the previous page will install the latest SVT (Scanner Validation Tool), TWAIN Data Source, the latest ISIS Driver and the latest WIA/STI drivers for the i5x50 Series Scanners. A new version of the Scanner Firmware may also be available. It is highly recommended that the most recent Firmware version be used with this driver.

IMPORTANT – Turn off and unplug the scanner from your PC when installing the new drivers.

NOTE: i5x50 CD Version 3.3 and Firmware 06.00.05 are for Sorter Version 1.0 (limited length and patch sorting options and Bar Code Sorting is not available).

NOTE: When installing i5x50 Series Scanner drivers for the first time:

1. DO NOT connect or power on the scanner to the host PC until the driver has been installed.
2. DO NOT uninstall the previous versions of this device driver installation, as this will update the current installation.
3. Shut down all applications, as the PC may require a reboot to finalize the installation. This will ensure Microsoft's plug and play technology will properly recognize the scanner.

The Smart Touch application is only installed with the full version of the download. For updated Smart Touch drivers (if available), click on the Drivers & Software menu button on the product web page or install the CD version of the download.
