Kodak Alaris was presented with the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Document Capture Solutions Product Line Strategy Award at this year’s Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards Program dinner. Now in its eight consecutive year, the annual event held in Singapore commends companies across various industries for their diligence, commitment, and innovative business strategies crucial to succeed in today’s competitive global marketplace.

The award further cements Kodak Alaris’ position as a leading player in the Information Management and Document Capture solutions space. As part of Frost & Sullivan’s APAC research program, market players were evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • The features and benefits of the company’s products
  • Strength of its competitive advantages
  • Company’s Go-To-Market Strategy
  • Company’s clientele who endorse the products
  • Innovation quotient of company’s products
  • Versatility and range of applications of company’s product line

“Kodak Alaris is one of the leaders in the Information Management industry and one of the most important players in the Capture space,” said Arvind Arun, Industry Analyst, Asia Pacific ICT Research, Frost & Sullivan. “From innovative document scanners and multipurpose network scanners to integrated imaging technologies, they have a broad portfolio of products to address virtually every need of an enterprise aspiring to go digital. They also back their products with excellent customer service and after sales support that results in high customer loyalty and excellent retention rates. In an increasingly competitive market, Kodak Alaris has carved out a place for itself and will be a force to be reckoned with in the years ahead.”

“As more and more enterprises embark on the digital transformation journey, Capture technology is seeing renewed interest among both SMEs (small-and-medium sized enterprises) and large corporate houses. Once considered a “nice to have”, the technology is fast becoming indispensable due to its ability to significantly reduce cost and improve operational efficiency.”

Apart from the main category of Information Communication Technology, prestigious awards were also presented to key players classified under Environment, Energy and Power, Industrial, Chemical, Logistics, and Healthcare.

“Kodak Alaris is honored to receive the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Document Capture Solutions Product Line Strategy Award from one of the world’s most reputable research firms. Clinching the award serves as a testament to our unique ability to enable customers in Asia to easily extract and retrieve information, as well as glean insights from disparate digital and paper sources. It is also reflective of our growth in the region, not just in terms of providing quality offerings to an expanding base of customers, but also in relation to the increasing amount of endorsements we hear from them,” said Cássio Vaquero, Regional Director, Information Management division, for Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Latin America.
